Placebo effect? Changed my oil tonight, put in Royal Purple 5W-30 and she's purring like a kitten.

Default Placebo effect? Changed my oil tonight, put in Royal Purple 5W-30 and she's purring like a kitten.
I wish I had a VAG to log some FATs times, beautiful cool 60 degree night and she was pulling HARD! Just switched from AMSOil which I have zero complaints about. I made the switch because my membership expired, my Pepboys stocks it and I needed an oil change ASAP. It was weird pouring in purple oil :-|

where do you live? what is a good weight for socal temps for summer? 85-95 all day

Default Here, I used this dealer locator, I paid $6 a quart, ouch! But from what I understand its worth it.
