Placebo effect? Changed my oil tonight, put in Royal Purple 5W-30 and she's purring like a kitten.

i did the same thing... 3.5k-4k miles..i'll go up to 5 k miles next and no more..

i suggest getting your oil analyzed by the folks in the link i posted above. mo data, mo bettah!

they'll make recomendations as to how long you can go based upon current and older oil analysis from YOUR car.
