Default Dude, why you gotta front? I said nothing like STFA. Just that you were opening a can of worms.

I certainly didn't lose my "friendly composure". Asking a completely open-ended question like "educate me about the S4", regardless of whether you say 'please' or not, is like asking the meaning of life. This is a great forum, but show people the respect that you've done some of your own research already and have specific questions you'd like to address.

Happy motoring.

"deeeeeewd! wah wah waaaah?!!"

nobodys frontin'.. and never was i referring to you. i was talkin' about everyone elses comments about "If you are lazy to search" and click "here" to the search page crap. the topic i posted was a general topic... leading down to specifics of costs of ownership etc. that's how things are written, a general title (educate me) and the supporting diagram (cost of ownership/problems) why is everyone so sensitive here?? it's like badmoodville or something.

Default There are chipped cars that never had turbo failures...

It is a weighted risk .. If you've been in a chipped car you know why people chip them. Most people who can buy an S4 (when they were new) could probably afford to get the turbos replaced too. If it is under warranty, pop in the old stock ECU and you're fine. I think it is worth it.

Fair enough, but then don't reply directly to other people on my post, use THEIR posts.

i'm sorry man, i'm really sorry. i'm new here and not used to the structure of this forum. now that you've pointed it out i'll be sure not to do it again and pay attention to the folder list and who i'm replying to. this place is a little different from vwvortex.com. i hope i didn't hurt your feelings.
