Please help me fit the correct tires onto the rims I'm buying

Ive finally decided to bite the bullit and get these rims. http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wh...197&CheckFit=1. My questions is tire size.
Wheelfire (who I'm buying from) recommends Sunny Tires SN3800
size: 225/40/18 SR:W. Ive never even heard of these! I can (and prob will) upgrade to a better brand of tire but is the tire fitment correct for my 2000 B5? The wheels are 18x8.5 so is 225/40/18 the best size for summer wheels? I would like to run a tire that will be as wide as possible and create the smallest looking wheel gap. Also offset is: HPO/MED. Obviously I don't know much about tires, please help!
PS. Does anyone kno what this means, its part of the specs of the wheels: Lugs: 5 x 112/114.3/120/120.65. Are they just different bolt patterns?

My 1st Question is will these fit over the B5 S4 HP-2 Brake Calipers?????
As for Tires I'm running a 235/45/18 on 18x8 / ET35 / 5x112 / B5 RS4 Reps.
Hopefully someone else can chime in & answer the brake caliper fitment Q?

I didnt even think of the brake clearance. Il look into it but I think they're guaranteed to fit the B5's. So your saying that I could run at least Thanks for the reply. So if Im understanding the tire sizing right you say I could run at least a 10 mm wider tire, because you are on a wheel that is half an inch narrower and running 235s? Do I have this correct? And then how would the side wall compare? I need to come pretty close to overall OEM diameter, correct?
Thanks again for any help

Some have even done 245/35 but its up to you if you want to run a 35 series tire since ride quality will be affected.
As far as the fitment of the rim, it says it will fit but I wouldn't expect it to have the deep dish look as it shows in the picture for an S4 fitment. The center will probably be much closer to the face of the wheel to clear the calipers making the lip much narrower.

I run 235/40/18 on 18x8.5 wheels ET35.
They used to rub in the front until i rolled the fender with a baseball bat and heatgun.
A lot of it depends on the brand of the tire as well... some brands are a lot thicker than others.
You'll never know 100% unless you ask someone who has tried your exact setup before.

HIS4-this is the most worrysome statement in here, though I'm not sure exactly what you mean. The center cap can't move in and out right? So how could the depth of the lip of the deep dish rim change (seem smaller). Not saying your wrong at all I just am not fraspinng what your saying. And the real deep rim is the WHOLE reason I like the rim so much.
Thanks for the help and I would really appriciate some more feedback from you or anyone else with some insight into deep dishin the B5.

It might not be as "deep dished" because the spokes in the center of the wheel could be closer to the lip in order to clear space for the S4 brakes. If the really deep, it probably won't fit (might hit the brakes). If you are looking for the super deep dished look... you will either have to go widebody or look for a BMW. lol

The right tire size would be 225/40R18, you'd be able to get away with the 235/40R18 also seeing as you'd like a wider tire. Saying this i dont guarentee that it won't rub but you should be fine. Whatever you do DO NOT stagger your wheels or tires.
