Default Poll for ASP stage 3 folks that had/have misfire CEL.

What was the fix or is it an ongoing problem?
Which injectors do you have 42# or 60#?

Thanks!

Default Fix...

Switch to EPL... LOL! I never got idle misfires to go away with 42lb setup. Coilpacks helped, new plugs helped, but no cure. I switched to EPL for local tuning capability... so far no misfires (knock on wood), 1 day only. ;-) )

But are your misfire recognitions enabled at idle? Look at block 015/016 in VAG.

Default 60lb

seems to be mainly cylinders #5 and #6. Happens more often lately....even had #5,#6,#3,and #4 misfiring last time I cleared the CEL.

This issue has been around since day one after the install....ASP even acknowledged it when I picked the car up and attributed it to the X-1.

I plan to have a retune done to resolve the issue.

Default false - misfire recognition is ENABLED when over ~18% load, if your idle load is below 18%, then use

lemmi and add torque bits in multiples of 5 until your idle load is 18%. if you still dont see misfires - well then you really dont have any misfires

Default You are speaking for all EPL car right now or what? That is not stock idle load threshold.

If you add idle torque with Lemmi in order to see misfire recognition enabled, you won't get a clear picture of how your car idles with normal idle torque.

My car usually idles at 16-17% load after scaling idle MAF readings. I used to idle below 15% load and never had idle load misfire recognition enabled. Regardless, I modified the code so that idle load misfire recognition threshold is only 15% now.
