no misfires on either car, both custom tuned with 60#

Default From playing with my own code, I now see how easy it is for small fueling changes to cause misfires.

On some files, I dont throw misfire codes. On some files, I've had misfire codes only. On one file, I triggered a CEL. The differences between them were MAF/fuel corrections.

Default Yes, bad injector, plugs too cold (swapped), then swapped cyl 2/5 injectors and fine

Kinda weird that swapping 2 with 5 finally cured it, I suspect there is another injector or CP that is on again/off again OK / on its way out, wont know till it gets worse, but car is 95% OK now which is fine as I rarely go WOT. Mark was/is willing to look at the car again, after already spending 8 hours of follow-up work since St3 conversion, but its good enough for me now.

Default i understand on the maf/inj part, all i was saying its, its not necessary due to the file

like i said from previous post, i have had flashed multiple cars with the same identical file, how come some of them are just dead zero, some of them had mis-fire? btw, these cars as almost identical hardware

to be fair to asp, ive had misfire codes all the time with homebrew as well.

Default Thats exactly what we are going to check out! I honestly believe its hardware related! :(

but like i said we are going to try swapping POS and Coil Pack and see if it helps, next would be checking vac leak if first 2 didnt help!
