Yeah, I was there two weekends ago. Decent selection. I may go tomorrow - drag night.

Haha! Nice. Is that a Jofa? I used to have one that had a blowup air padding inside.

Yeah, thus far I've been able to squeak by with my M2000.

I'm a track noob...just bought it last fall. Figured I'd get one that's good for a few extra years.

Default Yeah, I use an M2000 helmet that I got a really good deal on.

"What are the differences between the SA and M standards?
SA Standard was designed for auto racing while M Standard was for motorcycling and other motorsports. There are three major differences between them:
1. SA standard requires flammability test while the M standard does not;
2. SA standard allows narrower visual field than M standard (Some SA helmets may not be street legal);
3. SA standard has rollbar impact test while M standard does not."

My car doesn't have a rollbar so rollbar impact is not a concern of mine. Also given that my car is relatively stock (at least in comparison to most race/drag cars) flammability isn't a huge concern either.

As long as an "M" rated helmet is acceptable to the track officials, then it suits my needs just fine.
