If you're looking to track more and more, get a Spec Miata and else for daily.

If not tracking more, then I'd do used EVO VIII for the 30k.

If you go SM and a daily, I'd get some used japanese car. High mileage 95' E36 M3. The Nissan 240sx is a good cheap used RWD car. Or like a 2000 Honda Civic Si.

Of course on the 3rd Gen RX7, you could just import a 3 rotor to replace the 13b turbo. Just don't forget the periphal port job if you're staying NA.
