Default Poor little civic thought he had a chance... ends up: S4-1, Civic-0.

Comming up to a stop light after lunch. 2 co-workers in the car.

There's a riced up civic in the left lane, and i'm coasting to a stop in the other lane. The red is stale, so I'm ready to just roll through.

Well, it turned green and the civic stabbed it. Being supremely confident, I stabbed it as well... Only thing was.... I was in 2nd gear at about 5mph.

The helpless feeling that overwhelmed me was sad... as I was waiting for the turbos to spool, knowing that the civic would be my trophy, but watching him run away.

Then suddenly, as expected, the booosht gauge quickly ramped up, as myself and both passengers got nailed to the seatbacks...

I passed the civic with pride in my eye, and merged safely in front of him as my lane ended.

Do you smell that? Yea... It smells like victory.

<sigh>

I needed a baby seal after getting smoked by the M5 last night. I know I shouldda just downshifted rolling up to the light, but I was lazy.
