Default poor man's Piano Black interior wood trim ....

i bought a used set of birdseye maple trim and had it painted brilliant black in an attempt to create a Piano Black look. Overall, im very happy with the look. I might have a piece or 2 repainted ( little imperfections that I know will bother me ) but I managed to do the swap without removing the center console, so I can do it relatively easily. not the greatest pics, but you get the idea....
a little over exposed...its not this much of a contrast

Default info inside....

once you drop the glove box....there are 3 clips that hold the trim in place which you have access to. other than those 3, there are only 2 more that hold it on. one, you have access to from the drivers side of the console, and the one that is above and behind the hazard button area I got off by just gently pulling on the trim side to side and out until it wiggled the clip off in the back allowing the trim to come off. i still had to take the stereo and climate control out to replace the ashtray, but that wasnt too bad.

Default Been there, done that. Looks good. I had a friend who totalled out his and so I took his trim..

and had done the same thing. I can't tell from the picture but did you paint around the shifter also. If not do it. It makes it look sweet!
