Default By the way, anybody reading this who hasn't done this before - you really need a 2-arm puller.

The picture I just posted shows what happens when you try to use a 3-arm puller and 'make it work.'

Default I'll pray for it tonight.

However, I don't think God is too pleased with the way I was using his name over the past few weeks while I've been working on my car.

Default What to do

If it were my car I would replace it. And I would hang it over my work bench to remind me that I am strong enough to break things and I should be more careful when applying force!

Default Dude, I'm sorry to say this. I respect you for trying, but you're in over your head. Get it towed

to the nearest good/reputable indy shop ASAP. Have them finish it up and check your work.

Default personally, I would at least replace it with a good used one

You don't know if there's a hairline crack in the spoke of that sprocket. If I didn't replace it I would think about it every time I revved the engine.

If it fails you have TWO heads with bent valves. That repair job wwould cost you more than it would've cost to pay someone to do your timing belt in the first place.
