Is this possible?

I was reading Automobile magazine and came across an interview with a Mitsubishi Evolution Lancer driver. He mentioned something about adding a chip to control the anti-lag system, which basically pumps fuel into the exhaust manifold when you lift your foot off the throttle. This keeps the turbos spinning and eliminates lag. Is this something that any of the chip makers for the S4 can do? Is it possible with the S4 at all?

of the exhaust manifold. I thought that it pumped fresh air through the exhaust side of the turbo to keep it spooled. Don't think a chip could do that as you would need different plumbing to allow the computer to route fresh air through the turbo.

...so that the mixture is still burning when the exhaust valve opens. Heh, you think your turbos get toasty now...

A lot of Rally cars use a anti-lag system. When you are running T04 turbos you need to keep that monster spinning. It is very hard on exhausts and exhaust manifolds. I've read about a few Escort Cosworths with it. I'm not sure what is all involved with the system though. Might require more than just a chip upgrade since the S4 doesn't come with a anti-lag system
