Default Power loss ater tip chip install?

I just had a tip chip insalled after having my x chip in for two weeks and my car now seems like it has lost alot of power and the throttle response is poor has anyone had the same experience? I hooked it up to the vag-com and thier are no codes in engine, trans, etc.

Default Hmm... that could be why my X-chip doesn't feel so fast! I had both installed simultaneously. (m)

BTW, when you had the x-chip alone, did your tranny "hunt" between 4th and 5th gear while you were accelerating in 5th, at say, around north of 60-70mph?

Mine slips between 4th and 5th like crazy when I'm in that range, regardless of whether I'm in Tip or Auto mode. I'm wondering if that's also a function of the Tip Chip, or if that's just the X-Chip.

I had the x chip in without the tip chip at first and my acceleration was incredible and throttle response was instant, but it would hunt between 4th and 5th gear. Now it seems as though i have lost power, it now bogs down and the throttle is sluggish. It dosen't make much sense.

Default 2 of my friend's X chipped tip s4 have had the same gear hunting issue like you do,and GIAC

has known this problem for more than a year, but they haven't come out with any corrected version yet ,very disappointing.

After installing my tip chip my car has lost power and is less responsive than with the x chip and no tip chip. I had the gear hunting problem before the tip chip and now i don't have enough power to gear hunt it seems. I hooked it up to vag and have no codes.

Default Has anyone brought this up with GIAC? OK, so they know about gear hunting, but has anyone complained

about the loss of power with the Tip chip issue?

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I shouldn't have gone with APR... :-/
