Default Power steering failure/issue

So i just picked up my car thursday from the shop after a 45 day wait while they installed all "new OEM parts" such as abs pump/comp power steering pump intake pipes, ect from a fender bender i had back in april....well today while driving to work when i slowed down i noticed smoke billowing out of my passenger wheel well...pulled over poped the hood, fluid poured out all over the pavement, and i identified it as power steering fluid which lead me to check the resivoir, bone dry... needless to say monday morning i will be at the shop to have this remedied but as of now im at work in nyc and need to get home...does any one know if this sounds like a burst hose or maybe they didnt tighten a fitting, or any ideas, i work on a consruction site so it wouldnt be hard to get a temporary fix in their to get me the 15 miles home. any ideas? any help would be great thanks in advance

Hoses are on the left side for the most part. Could be the P/S cooler line but most likely a bad steering rack oil seal tha will fill up the tie rod end boot then leak out.

$663 at genuinevwaudiparts.com, cheapest for new original part. Otherwise ebay or something.
