Default Problem with "Info Screen" in instrument panel...HELP...

I've had this happen to me before...and completely forgot what I did to resolve it.

My info screen is blank When I'm driving, there's no temperature nor radio information, etc. (I do NOT have nav option).

I've tried the diagnostics test (pushing left pin) and it works...so I know the screen isn't dead. When I open any door...the "door ajar" shows up...and the "service in xxx miles" is there when starting the car.

I know this is a simple fix...b/c last time it happened, I didn't have to mess with fuses or the battery. Probably some stupid "push this for 5 seconds", etc.

Need to resolve this b/c I'm roadtripping tonight and need to know when temperature hits freezing b/c of wet roads, etc.

Thx in advance for any help !!

Just press the button on the bottom of the wiper stalk.

sometimes it's how long you "hold" the button in, that turns it off and on

Default Sounds like you're pressing the switch on the end of the stalk....

...that cycles through the display once you have the trip computer turned on.

The button on the bottom of the stalk (i.e., underneath) turns the trip computer on or off. Shouldn't need to press and hold it for more than a few seconds to turn it on/off.

Default it also "zero's" the average values...

using the side button to scroll through the display...pressing and holding the lower button will zero the average values and time values.
