Problem w/ brakes - audible noise/vibration (more) (plus Ferrari content)
Was away for about 12 days. When I finally escaped the van to make an S4 pizza run I felt a noticeable shudder when I applied the brakes. Varies proportionately with road speed. Did notice that parking brake did not initially "dis-engage" when released the first time - needed to put it in reverse and begin backing out to break free. Has not happened again since.
Thought it might go away with a little driving, but no good. Steering wheel doesn't shake, and doesn't happen if the parking brake is applied while moving (lightly), so assume it is with front brakes (despite parking brake initially sticking as described above).
Outside pads look OK - did not have time to pull wheels.
Any ideas? Are there wear bars on pads?
TIA.
BTW - the trip took us from Philly to Ft. Lauderdale, then Venice FL, then back. Saw ZERO S4's, but I did visit Shelton in Ft. Lauderdale, and checked out seating (no time to schmooze a test drive) in an F40, many other Ferrari's and the Maserati Spider (interior so nice, and clutch so soft). Played the $280 million powerball for tomorrow - if I win I am going back!!!!

For a Ferrari fix, stop at Algar in Rosemont PA....
They have an F40, 550 Barchetta, and a load of Modena 360s on the floor. I've bought my $20 worth of Powerball tix also. And I plan to win.
