My BBS center caps are coming apart. I've had these rims a little over 3 months on my S6 and I've had to replace one full set of center caps and those replacements are failing now also. The cap is made up of a small metal disk glued to a convex surfaced plastic base clip. The adhesive cement used to hold the two parts together simply isn't adequate. I drive the car about once a month on the track and more frequently on "spirited" mountain drives, so I wonder if this isn't a heat related failure of the glue. I have aftermarket StopTech brakes, slotted rotors, & Pagid Orange pads, so the heat being given off is not out-of-hand; and there's no sign of heat damage to the plastic cap itself. I'd simply try remove the caps when I go for a hard drive, but short of actually removing each wheel from the car and pushing the caps out from behind, I've found no other method for there extraction. The caps fit so tightly that even small dental tools will not fit between them and the rim to pick them out; and I've also tried a heavy duty suction cup to try and simply pull them straight out, to no avail.
Any advise here is greatly appreciated. I'm not sure whether buying center caps by the Case is the road I want to take here.
