Default Problems installing a Britax Marathon

Is there a way to properly install this or any other carseat? The 2001 S4 doesn't have LATCH, and this seat is way too loose with just the seatbelt install. Please HELP! I would prefer to fix this carseat problem rather than get another car!

get latch installed. used to be free to retrofit, you'll need to pay now.

Can I get LATCH installed at my local Audi dealer?

Default You are installing it wrong. With the seat belt it will work. Are you pulling the

belt all the way out until you get the clicking noise?

Default I have the same car seat...

just pull the belt out as far it will go, then thread it in the back of the seat and fasten. Pull out the rest of the slack. The belt should be locked if you first pulled it all the way out.

Default Rear facing?

If so, and you want it "not loose" you have to find a tether point down underneath the back of the front seat. You won't find something built for that purpose but rather will need to improvise. I never found a rear-facing seat installed with a tether going back over the rear seat backs that was acceptable to me in my three cars or any other I observed.

Default like others said, extend seat belt all the way...

feed it through the seat as per instructions, click it in. Then, lay on top of the seat and pull the seat belt tight. Then, REALLY lay on the seat, and pull on the seat belt some more.

Should be super snug. I've got one in each B5.
