Gents..need to flush radiator on my 1992 S4...purchased the Blue Radiator Fluid from Audi Dealer AND a can BG Radiator flush. Now on the can it states to put in radiator and run for 10-30 min w/ heater on. Is this the "same" case in with our Audi/VW expansion tanks? Meaning the BG product should go in the expansion tank? Does it circulate the coolant through that tank? Tank--->Engine--->Radiator--->Engine/Expansion tank....

end up with more leaks than you started with.
Just drain the coolant.
then remove the upper radiator hose where it connects to the radiator.
fill the cooling system with water. Leave the water hose running just a bit and stick the hose in the coolant bottle.
start the car.
let the engine come up to temp.
only have the hose on enough to let the water trickle out of the upper hose.
you will see the water start flowing more when the thermostat opens.
you might need to increase the water supply.
turn on the heater also
then when the water looks clear. connect the radiator hose. and remove the garden hose.
let it run a bit longer.. if it gets murky again repeat.
drain
add 1 gal. of coolant
then top off with a 50/50 mixture.
good luck!
