Default Prosport boost gauge install help

I bought a prosport electric boost gauge from a member on audizine.com a few days ago and have since installed it in the center vent almost fully. For anyone else who has installed this boost gauge, please help me with where to install the two small wires (the orange and white). The gauge is not lit up during the daytime so it is very hard to see. If you have installed this gauge please help me out. Thanks!

Default Wire the orange or white wire to a light source(or other switched source like the X75

block on the relay panel under the dash) to light it up. Think I have the orange wire on my TT gauge wired to the X75 so it lights orange during the day and the white wire wired to the ashtray night light so it lights white at night... matches the TT well.

Crappy exposure but...

Default I did it opposite in my S. White to the x75 (white during the day) and orange to the vent light

wire so that when i turn the headlights on the gauge is red. Easier on the eyes at night imo. Plus the red matches everything else in the cabin.

Were you able to shut off the loud noise at startup? If so how did you do that?

Default Hold the button down at startup until the chime/alarm shuts off... it should keep it off on the next

start(s).

Default Assuming your gauge (not light) power is connected to a constant battery source

Mine is also connected to the x75. So all settings are lost once the car is shut-off. I have rewire it to a constant source though because my gauge is off by about 2-3 psi which puts my boost above the default warning level. So everytime I got WOT my boost gauge is flashing and beeping at me :-/
