protecting A4/S4 xenon headlights

interesting pic
whoever did that probably had plenty of time to work on those lights. most of the ones i've seen were torn out by force from the side. regardless a sensor to set the alarm off is a must even with the SS brackets. making it harder to steal means you can still drive home at night, driving home with no headlights or dangling headlights is just unsafe. your insurance will cover your damage regardless. more damage is even better, you get new fenders, bumpers, lights etc and most likely still have your old lights. no protection guarantees that your lights will be gone and they will pound that fender back and bondo it up. either way you have to pay the same amount of deductible.

Ztech Brackets do not work
Ordered the brackets and alarm senors from Ztech and had them installed with my replacement headlights. 6 months later, my headlights were stolen again. IMHO, I don't think these brackets do anything at all.
Even worse, I told ztech about this, and they didn't offer any sort of refund. The only deal they could give me was a discount on another set of brackets. Thanks but no thanks.
FYI, I live in Boston
