Between my 20k and 30k maint. my car managed to use almost all of the PS fluid. I bought an extra bottle at 30k just in case, and the parts guy said to be checking for leaks because it is unusual to lose PS fluid, and replacing components of this system is big $$.
I asked the service manager what they found when checking it out, and he said nothing abnormal, it was not unusual for Audi's to use up the PS fluid. Seems unlikely to me, but I'd expect them to have a better knowledge of the S4 maint. record than I.
Searching the forum it seems like this has been an issue for at least a few people. I was wondering how many people have experienced PS problems, or rapid fluid consumption by the system, and if this eventually led to a failed part in the system.
