so it wasn't an issue(in terms of having cam timing cels) when I've swapped cams out. Trying to diagnose through email, and I just completely didn't realize it. Moss solved it since I guess he's been bitten by the problem once(and he's a quick thinker).

can be used on either side and YOU DON'T have to pull the cam tensioner out. The driver side is a PITA, but if you are doing a timing belt, THAT is the time to do it because you can pull the cover off behind the sprocket. Just be VERY, VERY careful not to bump the engine or whatever as the cam could slip.
