You never noticed how they're inverted from each other?

Default Nope. Its obvious once you look closer, but I've never had them both off at the same time

so it wasn't an issue(in terms of having cam timing cels) when I've swapped cams out. Trying to diagnose through email, and I just completely didn't realize it. Moss solved it since I guess he's been bitten by the problem once(and he's a quick thinker).

Doh!

How difficult is it to change the cam tensioner seals, once the valve covers are off?

Not too bad, but you have to pull the cam out so make sure you mark the chain and cam sprocket.

Default He's not talking about the seals...he's talking about the actual cams and cam tensioners. The seals

can be used on either side and YOU DON'T have to pull the cam tensioner out. The driver side is a PITA, but if you are doing a timing belt, THAT is the time to do it because you can pull the cover off behind the sprocket. Just be VERY, VERY careful not to bump the engine or whatever as the cam could slip.
