Default PSA regarding our latest RSK04 software. ***Please Read***

The new software will only work properly with the stock airbox in place along with the mesh screen in front of the MAF.

If you do not have these installed, we cannot guarantee proper running.

Here are is a short list of things to look at when trouble shooting, or if you purchased a car used.

-Stock air box with hole cut out of the bottom and a panel air filter in place. NO SFLO's or Cold Air Intakes if you are running K04's.

-There is a giant rubber o-ring between MAF and the Airbox. Be sure that this is in place and forms a tight seal.

-On cars that have been converted to Hitachi MAF's, be sure the wiring is perfect with good connections.

-Be sure there is the A.W.E. plastic mesh screen IN FRONT of the MAF. This smoothes the air to the MAF and will help with driveability.

-NO BOOST OR VACUUM LEAKS.

-Be sure that the N75 Wastegate Regulation Solenoid is replaced after 60K miles.

-STOCK SPARK PLUGS!!!

-Fuel Injectors should have their connectors facing the fenders of the car. This will help diagnose cold start issues.

-The lines to the wastegate actuators should be replaced on cars with over 70K. These are prone to failure causing the car to overboost. They can't be tested via a normal pressure test. In order to test them, compressed air has to be forced into the lines connected to the N75 that lead to the actuator itself.

-Diverter Valves should be holding vacuum.

-No holes in F-hose or Throttle Body Boot.

-All hose clamps are tight.

-No Boost Controllers or Throttle Cut Defenders

-Adaptation Channels set to OEM spec.

-Stock 4bar fuel pressure regulator.

-Oxygen sensors should be changed at 70K miles.

Default good info, but that MAF screen actually makes sure the air is turbulent and more uniform

in cross section as it crosses the sensor so that an accurate reading can be obtained.

Hehe, just nit picking here. Good info though.

Default If my ECU doesnt have the boost controller, would the GIAC program still allow me to write new

values for boost?

My boost is set at 255 and my car wont request more than 22 at redline. Timing correction factors at 0.

I paid for the boost controller option, is there a chance i didnt get it?
