Default well, umm.. i could, but it won't be easy.

since i had a tough time undoing the stock clamps, i stood around for 10min thinking about it; then i decided to cut the stock hoses and put the "T"s in between. easier to install. harder to uninstall.

that's why i figured i could just "clamp" the hoses going to the MBC to put a stop to the flow.

Default Good idea but be careful with the clamping.

Default i guess that wasn't it (bursts into tears, hehe)

man, i get aggrevated when an easy install like this ends up being an endless tuning.

with the MBC hose pinched, i had the same lag, except that boost now peaked at 20+.

at partial throttle the car just acted insane. the boost kept rising, until it hit the max of 20 something PSI. then shot back down to 4 and stayed there (the safe limit i suppose). low & behold i got the "max boost reached" code again.

i need a local audi guru. hehe.

Default Beginning to suspect the N75. If it leaks, you'd get this kind of behaviour w/o MBC.

Make sure you don't have an N75 hose leak.

Default Yes, although my leaks were hard to hear. Had to use a stethoscope to locate them.
