since i had a tough time undoing the stock clamps, i stood around for 10min thinking about it; then i decided to cut the stock hoses and put the "T"s in between. easier to install. harder to uninstall.
that's why i figured i could just "clamp" the hoses going to the MBC to put a stop to the flow.

man, i get aggrevated when an easy install like this ends up being an endless tuning.
with the MBC hose pinched, i had the same lag, except that boost now peaked at 20+.
at partial throttle the car just acted insane. the boost kept rising, until it hit the max of 20 something PSI. then shot back down to 4 and stayed there (the safe limit i suppose). low & behold i got the "max boost reached" code again.
i need a local audi guru. hehe.
