Question: Is the A4 1.8T KO3 identical to the S4's?

I have a K03 from an A4 in my garage. Yesterday, I looked at a K03 from an S4. The S4 K03 has a SMALLER intake and cold side turbine.

Also the turbos are suppose to be replaced in "matched pairs" whatever that means

yeah there are different turbine wheel trimes, pitches, and also housing sizes... like garrets A/R
