Question about Mintex Red Box Pads........

After 3000 miles my rotors are exhibiting signs of pad build-up/warpage, etc. after running Mintex pads. I am replacing the rotors and I want to leave the pads in place as they have 95% pad left. How would you bed in the pad with the new rotors? I have heard some say to drive very mildly for a certain distance while others have said to do several high speed stops with brief cooldown periods in between, then let the rotors cool overnight. I am trying to avoid the rotor warpage issue from reoccuring. Thanks

I drove to the back lot of an office bulding and did several 50-5mph stops, then i waited a few minutes to let it cool down and did another set of 50-5mph stops. Just be sure you dont make a full stop when bedding them in, and when you are cooling it down be sure your brakes are not engaged. I did this with mintex red box pads and zimmerman drilled/slotted rotors and I have been very happy with this combo. Good luck.
