Default Question about missing keys...

A friend just picked up a used S4 and only got one folding key fob and one garage/valet key. She doesn't have the emergency key either. She's wondering if the missing keys can be used to get into her car.

Anyone know what I can tell her? Thanks.

Sure, if someone has them and knows they are for her car.

Default umm... that's $$$

replacing the remote box, and all the locking
cylinders, including the glove compartment and
trunk...

cheaper to add an aftermarket python alarm or
aladdin system that'll work in conjunction with
the factory alarm...

in other words setup the aftermarket alarm
so THAT remote unlocks the doors, and disarms
both itself and the factory alarm.

that way if the *other* key fob is ever used,
the aftermarket alarm will still work.

OR... have the dealer she got the car from pay
for replacing the lock cylinders and the remote
alarm box thingy.
