but the fog lights do cut out when the high beams go on

Default Why is that a stupid function? High beams aren't effective in fog, and shouldn't be used so ...

... why shouldn't the car assume if you're going to high beams you no longer need the fogs?

Now, if they were *driving lights*, as opposed to fogs, then it would be a stupid function.


What I hate is that you can't use the fogs with just the parking lights, which is way more effective in dense fog than having the xenons on as well. :-/

Due to the wavelength, HIDs are actually worse in fog than incandescents.
