Question about stock HID Xenon headlamps : Do the HID low beams turn-off when the hi-beams turn on??

Default Ok to clarify it's a DOT regulation that only 2 sets of head lights illuminate at once.

Default I guess I like the pushing as much light forward in Euro land better...
IIRC, europeans keep the fogs on while flashing to pass.
