Default not possible
i've been told that when you install the MBC, the apr software doesn't except the added boost and cuts out etc.

it doesn't do that on the drive by wire 1.8T stage 3 software from APR. Not that I intentionally ran more boost, but it definitely didn't close the throttle or anything. I was running way over 25 psi (sustained). It just killed all timing advance on me. To be clear, I was still using the N75 at the time. I had accidentally pinched the wastegate hose. I haven't turned my EBC past where the ECU requested boost is at so I'm not sure how it would react with no N75 connected. So the S4 ECU will actually close the throttle on you?

Default The S4 will close the throttle if it sees a substantial boost deviation...
Key word there is if it <b>sees</b> the deviation. Note that that is true for all K03 software.
