Too much boost over requested will also cause throttle cut...
due to the positive deviation DTC. Since K03 software tapers off, it will cause throttle cut if you try to sustain 1.2+ bar through the whole RPM range.

ic...I guess since my software requests about 20 psi until redline
even if I have something like that in the software I'd have to go quite high to trigger it.

I suppose is you use Vtune or mobile tuner or something
you can raise boost, and therefore requested boost and be better able to run K04's on K03 software no? Maybe it's just cheaper and easier to sell your chipped ECU and get K04 software. Just a thought.

Well, V-tune isn't available to us yet...
And I'm not sure exactly how it is going to work. The rest of the adapation channels just raise or lower the curve as a whole. So if it functions that way for boost, we'd be raising the curve as a whole, but it would still taper rather than being flat.
Its irrelevant anyway, as we probably won't see V-tune for a while. There are other ways around the MAP limit though.
