A QUESTION OF BRAKE UPGRADES

I'm giving some thought to swapping out the brakes on my S4. I wanna stay at or near the 2k range, and my primary options are:
(1) Brembo 996 monobloc calipers, stock S4 rotors, stainless lines fore and aft, Mintex "red box" pads.
(2) Stoptech 332 mm front slotted rotors, front/rear SS lines, pads TBD (possibly Pagid).
The Brembo solution is clearly cheaper, but keeping the stock rotors seems like a half-*** way of doing things. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

(1) Stock S4 Calipers, but go with Porsche 993TT brake rotors and Mintex Red brake pads... it is a really nice street setup
(2) Full setup above, with Brembo/Porsche caliprs too... Stage 3 kit..
All items available at ECS Tuning. There are plenty of local guys with both setups. For street use and light track use, the #1 option makes the most sense. #2 is better but at nearly $2k its really overkill for most of us... but it stops on a dime!
