Question on dent removal

Some inconsiderate person decided to use my passenger side rear door as a doorstop and left a nice ding. The ding is not that noticable but its still annoying. My question is, how hard is it to remove the inside rear door panel so I can massage out the dent from the inside? Also, is there any other way for me to massage out the dent without removing the inside door panel? Am I insane (& cheap) and should I just call the paintless dent people?

want too much.
I've seen them work, though, and I'm not sure its practical to replicate what they do without a lot of specialized tools.

you could end up making it stick out rather than in....requires some special tools and skills to "roll it out". I had a 3rd gen rx7 that had major dimples and I used someone in toronto to get them out...reasonable price....dent doctor or something like that.

The popular dent removal services that use sort of a reverse dent removal by pushing it out from the backside quite often do not remove door panels to fix dents. They drill holes in the end of your door and insert their tools through the hole. When finished they put in a rubber plug. So if you don't want a hole drilled in your door, make sure you let them know ahead of time. I have quite a few cars and have use this service many times with great success, highly recommend this for fixing dings that don't involve paint.
