Default Just run on a stock chip if you can.... (some info on the MXs also!)

Not sure how the stock chip will deal with the FMIC and DPs etc etc.

You've got everything else you need! The pads that are in your stoptechs should be fine, but moving up to a dedicate track pad certainly won't hurt.

Your MXs will be more than adequate on the track. They really deal with the heat very well. However, that being said. You will get a lot of strange wear on the tread blocks as well as a LOT of push up. Possibly even some chunking depending on how much wear is on the tires already.

HAVE FUN!

You don't necessarily need racing seat belts, but you do need a helmet.

Default Thanks much! BTW, the stock chip works PERFECT with the FMIC and LaBree's...

I've actually been driving that way for 2 days now (I'm conducting "tests") and it's been a real blast. Lost a lot of power, but wow, the smoothness!

Thank you. As for tires, I think the MX's will do me fine for now. <

Default That's what I thought, so I plan to run stock...

but can you go into further detail about how the heat of the track may hurt the tranny? TIA.

Default Well, too late for the brakes and suspension, but I will run the stock chip...

Thanks for the advice, any comments on what I should do / check for after an event?

Default For street(ish) tires, start with 2-3 psi less per tire cold than you usually run.

Use a tire crayon to mark the sidewalls and see how far over you're rolling on them.
