Default Start ot at 38 PSI.

It sounds like you're set up very well for the track. You'll do fine.

If for some reason your turbos go (doubtful since you plan on using stock programming), then there's always the K04/K16 hybrids waiting for you. ;-)

Default Not really, I usually just drive home. Nothing to really check except to make sure you haven't

corded any tires and that you haven't lost any fluids.

Default And after I upgrade my turbos...

then my tranny has to get upgraded to Level 10 or I need to do a 6 Speed conversion and then I have to do this and then I have to do that... Let's just say I'm hoping the car stays solid at Stage II+ for a while. All I know is that I'm doing everything I can to take care of it. Thanks again! M.

Default Yeah, wanted to ask you about this "tire rolling" issue...

Could you go into more detail about exactly what the tires do on the track (ie, roll) and how exactly to gauge it. I suppose if it's rolling too much you need to add more pressure, and if not at all you can let more out, correct? Is it then ideal to have a little as necessary without getting roll? Thanks.

Default You don't really need a crayon or chalk, you'll see how far down the tires wears. If you have scuff

marks on the sidewall, add preesure; if you're not really wearing the outer shoulder of the tread, take some out.

Default Heh, yeah, going back to stock always blew my mind and how well the car could drive.

Audi really knew what the hell they were doing.

Default I mark my sidewalls with three equidistant lines from the tread to the rim before every session.

That way, I can see how much I rolled over on the sidewalls during that session. The only problem I can see with just eyeballing the scuff marks like mpwolf suggested in the post below is that once the tire is scuffed, it's hard to tell whether you're still scuffing to that edge. Example: you use too little air your first session, and scuff half the sidewall. You add air for the next session, and go run. Come back, and you don't see any increased scuffing (obviously). But how do you know whether the scuffing has retreated to a safe portion of the tire? Once it's scuffed, it's scuffed. That's why I do the lines each time. You can see for that particular session what your tires are doing.

Default Any particular reason for that high of a pressure? I've found it necessary to start much lower.

Otherwise, I'm sliding around midway through the session, and my buddies start leaving me behind.
