Default Question for those of you who moded the fog lights? Please Hlep...lah...

I want to use the stock harness (which is used to power up H7 bulb,) to support H3 85w bulbs... Is it possible?

Otherwise, what can i do to mod it?

Default Why not just use higher wattage H7s?

Be forwarned that these are not DOT legal and may ultimately discolor your light housings according to some reports I have read. FWIW 55W is the max that is DOT legal for H7s.

I had 70 watt Megawhites in mine until recently, but pulled them in favor of 55W Eurolight Xenons (http://www.aieonline.com/71/cat71.htm?11) instead. I did not see any discoloration of my fog housings and I did run with them as running lights almost all the time.<ul><li><a href="http://www.classicgarage.com/classicgarage/wl-mwh7100.html">http://www.classicgarage.com/classicgarage/wl-mwh7100.html</a</li></ul>

Default yes, easier way to go IMO

modding the housing to accept an H3 is possible but it's likely you would not be able to return to H7's without new housing harnesses.

i'd go with higher wattage bulbs 1st.

Default I already have the 55w H7, but recently both of my lens broke...

For replacing them, would cost me 260+, so why don't i just go with aftermarkets for a LanEvo V like fog light?
