Default I've said this before many times and I will say it one last time...

...it does NOT matter what the experts or anyone else says. What matters? Two things:

1) Can you see well?
2) Are you blinding the oncoming traffic?

If the experts say adjust the lights this way and you can't see a thing at night, what good is their advice?

Similarly, let's say the expert advice is optimal and you can see perfectly but are now blinding the oncoming traffic...you're gonna get pulled over by Father Smokey.

So, what you need to do is find a happy compromise between the two. You need adjust the lights yourself for optimal vision. After that, go 300 feet away and walk towards your S4 to see if you are blinding anyone. Best to crouch down to simulate as if you're in a car...better yet, drive another car to and from your beam pattern to see if your lights are too high.

If not, you're all set! If so, make adjustments accordingly.

Some things are very subjective and this is one of them.

Good luck!

Default Horz level should remain the same as you back away from a wall on level ground, and the slant should

center(+-) on the license plate of the car in front of you.

"corners" of slant beams will line up as you back up... too close to wall in pix.
