Default Question for you Euro Headlamp users....

1. Does your corner light stay on as a "parking" light when your headlights are on, or is it only on when blinking. (On always would be a U.S. light exhibition)

2. Is it clear or amber? I think European blinkers can be clear, if I remember correctly

3. If the corner light is only on when blinking, how did you wire it to do that?

I'm thinking to re-route the always on wire to the city light, so that the city lights become "parking" lights. Which wire should I snip and reconnect.

Thanks.

You know any? Maybe they can be a bit more helpful here than you.

i have my parking lights wired so that they only come on when my turn signals are on. when i have my parking lights on, the city lights are illuminated.

i have silvervision bulbs for my turnsignals and they illuminate amber. i think DOT regulations require an amber turn signal.

if i remember correctly, to have the corner lights act solely as turn signals, you have to cut the wire going into pin 1 of the turn signal harness (might want to double check that).

Default What I did...

1. I have it so the corner lights are solely turn signals. City lights are now my parking lights.

2. Currently it is amber but I plan on getting the SilverVisions, like Izzy, and wiring harness so they will look silver and illuminate amber. It is stated in the FMVSS 108 that front turn signals are to be amber. I personally thing "superwhite" front turn signals is ghetto.

3. Cut right side gray with red strip wire and left side gray with black stripe wire near socket.

You will need to run a white from the plug 3 of your headlight harness to the cut wire of the corner harness.
