question for you guys: stock or GIAC

it was in my car which was sold to me by a dealer and gave me a CPO on the car. I'm pretty sure the holder is GIAC but the chip its self i'm not to sure of.
this came out and i just got the Dahlback chip...all i have to say is WOW!

When I converted my GIAC Stage 3 ECU back to stock they used a piggy back board with
stock chip instead of resoldering it back to the board.
Maybe that's what it is, otherwise your WOW factor just wouldn't make sense.
I could compare your PIC to mine when I get home.

I'm pretty sure that's actually a GIAC chip. A stock chip on a GIAC piggyback board doesn't have that small black chip on the underside, where the GIAC chip in a GIAC piggyback has it. I assume that extra chip handles the encryption.
