Default Quick confirmation on S8 18x8 ETA48 fitment..already STFA

10mm spacers seem to be the norm (somewhat conflicting info in archive stating 5mm a must, 10mm a must, or not needed). I have stock brakes and am planning to go with 10mm spacers for looks and for prepping for future possible brake upgrades.

235/40/18 tires look to be common choice for these and should not have any issues in terms of fit.

Sound right?

Now for the really stupid question: do spacers just go up front or in rear, too?

TIA,
Per

AFAIK they bolt right up without spacers.

I think so too, but they're going to be tucked *way* inside the fenders without spacers.

Default My new S8 wheels don't have tires on them so I haven't test fit them yet, but...

...I have 15mm spacers from use my stock 17" OEM Avus wheels, so I'm going to try those first. 12mm spacers seems to have been popular with the S8's from the few posts I've seen in the archives, so I'm hoping the extra 3mm won't push them out too far. If they do, I guess I'll have to reconsider what to do.

But I'm sure you'll be fine with 10mm spacers, that's probably a good way to go.

Unless somebody who has had S8 wheels can comment?

how about the stupid question: need 'em on all 4 or just the fronts? (assuming all 4)

IMHO, run spacers on all four wheels.

Default Speaking of spacers, who makes/sells 12mm hubcentric spacers?

My 15mm spacers are MTM, but near as I can tell they don't maek 12mm.
