Will they clear the front calipers?

yeah.. but the S8 rims look better on our cars.. the B6 are concave... bnl107 has them

Default Small spacers are required in the front, from what I've read.
Hartmann wheels has a replica of the B6 Avus with a different offset that fits the B5 S4 perfectly.

Have you seen them on a B5 in person? I think it actually looks pretty damn good.

Depends on the color of the car... I personally like the B6 S4 wheels better on Nogaro Blue.

Fresh pads on fresh OE front brakes will require a 5mm spacer. 3mm will work if there is some wear
