Default Quick radio question...already STFA.

I'm trying to install a powered antenna adapter. I need to tap off a 12V switched power source. There is a 7,5 Amp (I don't know what that means) fuse on the back of the radio. On the bottom is a label that reads "12 V, 4 Ohm, 7,5 A". I assume that means the fuse is 12 volts. What's the worst that could happen if I plug the adapter into the fuse?
I'm also asking in the radio forum.
Thanks.
Jason

Sounds like it's a 7.5 Amp fuse.
