Quick tire question for all the gurus.....
This maybe a bit stupid, but for the stock Avus rims, how is it that more than one tire size can fit it? Stock tire size is 225/45. How can a 235/45 (or even 245/45) fit on those rims? For the same make/model of tire what would be the difference between the two? Would any suspension components get in the way of the wide tires?
Thanks for the info.

Not recommended to put anything wider than 225 on stock rims
As far as the questions it's easy:
The 'hole' is still for a 17 wheel, regardless of what the thread and side sizes are.
235/40/17 will fit fine without rubbing/mods, 235/45/17 depending on the tire brand MAY rub when suspension bottoms out.
245/45/17 WILL need rolled fenders.
You need at least a 7.5 wide wheel for a bigger tire (stock is 17x7).
