Default Quick update on yesterday's uphill block 003 run....

I took a measurement with an incline meter this morning, and it was about a 3 degree rise. Not as much as my initial estimate of 5-8 degrees. Either way, there is still NO WAY that my car would do a low 4 second 4200-6500 rpm run. Not at APR Stage II (for all you APR haters). I plan on trying a few runs today, if I can find a semi-open flat road to do the runs. Will post the results when in.

Default

Maybe LCP can recalculate it with 3 degrees. I think it will be around 5 seconds flat.

Default No big deal. I said that I would update the incline, so that's what I did......

I will get a level run later today. Gotta know just how slow this APR pig is :-)

I was just sort of curious, but I'm also looking forward to see a flat run time by you.

Default Need a good laugh, huh ??? One day....KO4's, and all the goodies that go with them !!!

Almost makes me wish the KO3's would go south sooner than later. I am definitely leaning more towards the 3- thing, instead of the full Stage 3. And hey, it's cheaper too.

Default I really want to replace my turbos before they go bad. I would cry the entire day they blew :'(

You should get piggie pipes IMO, but just my 1 cent (have to save the other cent for advice later-it is early )

Default Thought about that, but it's such a pain in the *** to mess with the DP's.....

might as well just wait for the KO4 conversion, and do it all at once. It's finally 1pm, and time to get the hell out of work. Will post later.

Default 5.8 seconds from 60-90 on a 3º incline equals 4.75 seconds on flat ground.

To put this in perspective a little bit though, in R&T's 1999 test of the S4, they showed time to speed in 10mph increments. To get to 60 took 5.5 and to get to 90 took 11.5. That's 6.0 seconds, but with one shift, so subtract about 0.3 seconds for that shift, and that's 5.7. 4.75 is a 20% improvement on 5.7, which is roughly proportional to the power increase from a chip.
