Default Quick! What oil, viscosity and oil filter should I use?

Im changing my oil tomorrow and I need to know what to use. I know OEM filter is the best but I dont have access to it tomorrow so I need to get something at a local store. What does everyone recommend?

Thanks

Default Another owner here in FL told me of damage from non-OEM filter

I don't recall all the details, but he got an oil change at some place other than a dealer & they used a filter brand other than Audi. One result was oil spraying all over his engine. Sorry I don't recall more but he heads the South FL Audi group and can be emailed at john.studdard@audiclubsfl.com

The lower the top end of viscosity the more power, I guess.
