Default Raced a new (still had dealer tags!) S2000 last night!

I was very impressed by the performance of this thing. He by no means beat me but he kept up with me on the big end pretty well, even though he was a tad behind. If my car was not chipped I belive he would have run me down!

Has anyone in stock form raced one of these or done any high speed runs with one?

Sad to see someone not breaking in the S2000 correctly

S2000 w/ no clutch drop = loss to stock S4. S2000 that drops clutch at 7K or higher might win. IMO

Default Is there an invisible shoot behind you car: my car, stock, walked away from an S2000?!?

Granted I'm a mile high, but you still are faster than the S2000 at sealevel stock...

Default I did 20k miles ago. We did two 40mph punches.

I was ahead a few cars each time. In 2nd gear, we were dead even. Then in 3rd I would pull almost a car....then by the end of 4th I was a couple cars ahead.

What's going on in Houston? Lot of battles lately for you.

Default Nick....the S2000 will take a stock S4 on the freeway.....

they are very fast at freeway speeds....they really take advantage of high rpm hp and gearing....

Default I just figure once those things are spinning they should have some good thrust!

It wasn't a close race but I was curious if my car was stock, how close would it have been.

Not much going on here. It's been good lately...I was just saying how I have not had any good races lately with cars that mattered.

Default They do run very good on the highway. My buddies got me to race the dude.

I thought I was going to lose actually. I was 100% stock back then.....except for the 25hp MOMO shift ****. ;-p One thing though, the S4 is no punk on the highway either.

So S2000s will be faster than others...just like some S4s are faster than others.
