Raced a new (still had dealer tags!) S2000 last night!

As I remember, (and I was stock back then) it was tight for a little bit. And as soon as he hit VTEC, it was over. He just started pulling away. It happened pretty quickly so I don't remember all the details or everything pretty accurately but I know that he took me.
It's a very nice car. And on the highway, where you can really let it loose, the S2000 can strut its stuff.

I read your post about being ahead. And that has me rubbing my head. I know driver is a huge factor but I have to tell you, I knew his car would be fast but the way he started pulling away really shocked me. If I remember correctly, it was kinda hot and a bit muggy (I'm not sure though) and my car really seems to loose ALOT of oomph during conditions like that.

Some will run better than others. I might have raced a weaker S2000 and you might have ran a stronger one....who knows. I have noticed that S4s vary in performance. My car (to me) was a freak of the factory. Somebody took some extra time putting the car together or something....it was real fast for being stock. So many people would say I was lying about being stock when I beat them. I mean, I use to pull on my friends cars who ran 100-102 thru the 1/4 on the highway from a 40punch. It was crazy. I was happy though, but it was strange how fast the car was stock.
