Anyone else like to see a V1 Remote, like the K40 remote unit that mounts in the grill and the LEDs are hidden in the instrument cluster?

Maybe we can petition Valentine if there's enough interest?

Practicality militates against spirited defense of a moving violation. I've seen extremely well reasoned presentations by drivers go down in flames on the premise that it is a civil infraction, the burden of proof on the state is much lower, and we all know what really happened. Last best chance is with the prosecutor prior to a hearing, I'm afraid.

A remote mounting of a V1 will not work. It would eliminate all coverage other than straight ahead. What's worse, all sources detected on "the bounce" (road signs, other cars, etc.) would register as coming from ahead of your vehicle as opposed to the true source which could be BEHIND you.

I believe the K40 unit uses 2 receivers, one in the grill and one under the back bumper to distinguish direction, though it is limited to front/back.
