Radio in SAFE mode

Radio in SAFE mode
I had some work done on my newly purchased 2000 S4 that required the battery to be disconnected. Radio is now in SAFE mode. I have no owners manual - looked for the code all over the car with no luck. Can Audi provide the code from the VIN number?

if your able to pull the radio out, you can get the number and go into the dealer
with the radio number and vin the dealer will give you the code. My dealer didnt charge me. They said it would be $50 to pull it and get the number if i couldnt get the radio out myself.
